About Us.....

Tromec Ltd began trading in 1974 in Surbiton, Surrey.

  Owned by Alan Cheshire, Tromec grew in size and gained a reputation for manufacturing quality components to a variety of industries.

Since Alan's retirement some years ago, Paul Cheshire has carried the business forward. Moving to larger premises in Kingston upon Thames enabled Tromec to invest in new machinery and create dedicated bench, assembly, inspection, cleaning, degreasing and packaging areas.

In our recent ISO 9001-2015 audit we were highly commended on our management systems. 

We are proud to have been involved in many projects over the years and it is extremely pleasing to see our clients vision grow, from a simple design on paper to producing and testing a prototype to successful production.

Based on the outskirts of London, we have a vast infrastructure of suppliers where we source stainless steels, aerospace grades, aluminium alloys, copper, brass, engineering plastics, titanium, carbon / alloy and steels at the most competitive rates.

Tromec have invested in computer systems to enhance the production and day to day operation of the company:

Using our Datatrack production control system from quotation to invoicing, the systems capabilities allow us to be more accurate and competitive with costings and keeps a track record of every product supplied.

Sharp Cam is used for programming and ensures accuracy in manufacture.
